For safety and environmental reasons. If something's on this list, we'll point you to the right Hampton Roads facility instead.

- Paint thinner and solvents
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Pool chemicals
- Industrial cleaners
Hazardous materials
- Asbestos (any form)
- Lead paint chips / debris
- Mold-heavy materials (without proper handling)
- Radioactive material
Medical & biohazard
- Used needles
- Prescription drugs
- Blood-contaminated material
- Pathological waste
Munitions
- Firearms
- Ammunition
- Fireworks
- Explosives of any kind
Large vehicle parts
- Whole vehicles
- Boats
- Heavy machinery
Possible with extra handling — just ask
These items aren't a flat "no" — they need a heads-up first so we can route them properly.

- — Old propane tanks (small, empty)

- — Fluorescent bulbs / CFLs
